                                       August 28, 2004 (Saturday)
                                           Denver Rock Island Railroad
The Rocky Mtn. Div. of NARCOA is pleased to sponsor a 1-day run over the Denver Rock Island Railroad (DRIR), a small industrial switching RR of 6 miles in length, and part of the former Rock Island Lines in the Denver Area. Participants will set-on at 9:00 am near 5300 Dahlia St., depart at 10:30 am and travel approximately 10 round-trip miles between Commerce City, CO and Denver, CO. There is a twenty-car limit, and we will meet for lunch from the menu at a restaurant near the end of the line at 12:30 pm. Participant will pay for their own meals. A non-RMD member Trip Fee of $20.00 or $30.00 per car includes railroad costs and affiliate dues. There is a 20-car limit. This is a not a NARCOA insured excursion, however, all NARCOA rules will apply. For trip details contact Steve Patterson EXCURSION COMPLETED..
