This picture was taken several owners ago, before the car was taken apart for its rebuild.
The previous owner got the materials for new floorboards. This is Fairmont's "ply-metal" - sheet metal covering plywood. Here I've squared the frames and assembled the basic parts of the engine tunnel. 9/5/2005
Here's the same engine block. All I did was scrape most of the grime and dirt off, you can see what a huge difference it made compared to the previous photo! 11/24/2005.

Here we're stopped in the siding outside Keystone, waiting for the passenger train to pass so we can run the rest of the way down into town.
Craziest speeder I've seen yet. They wanted a bigger engine in it but it wouldn't fit in the small frame, so it hangs out the front.
