San Luis & Rio Grande RR. Alamosa, CO (Alamosa via La Veta Pass to La Veta, CO and return) Friday and Saturday, September 23 & 24, 2011 CANCELLED EC on Friday: Jerry “Greg” Geiger. EC on Saturday: Lynn French. Cost $125.00/day for RMD members and $140.00/day for non RMD members. 20 car maximum. Prerequisite: Have successfully participated in either the Leadville, Colorado & Southern run on September 21 and/or 22, 2011 or the Denver & Rio Grande RR Historic Foundation run on September 23, 2011 with your car or receive specific approval from Lynn French. Run one or both days. Set on will be from 5-7PM on the day before each run. Special arrangements may be made for set on the day of the run. Safety meeting at 6:45AM with 7AM departure. Return at 4PM each day. NARCOA rules and insurance will be in effect. No Smoking on the run. Spark arrestors required.
