WORK SESSION – April 21/22:COMPLETED The winter snow plows have filled in many of the flangeways along the Towner Line. A flangeway cleaning work session is being planned for the weekend of April 21 and 22. The V&S has been running trains between Haswell and Towner, so that helps. This will be a checkout
run for the full trip in May. We will also have RMD safety folks present
to give your car a safety inspection for 2007 if you missed the earlier one.
Set-on at Eads Saturday morning starting 7:30 am, Sunday morning about 8:00
am. Bring shovels, picks and brooms to clear flangeways. Please let
Richard Reiff (719-543-7023 or patrichgricers@earthlink.net ) know if you plan on attending.
